Description
Vinyl = Near Mint, Jacket (shrink) = Near Mint
One owner. Played only once. Vinyl is still in like-new condition essentially. Jacket is nearly perfect with the bottom edge having a single barely noticeable dent (see close-up). Note that there are two very small stains/marks on the backside (see close-up), which appear to be on the shrink. However, since I'm unable to wipe them off, it's possible that the stains/marks are under the shrink, on the jacket itself. Purchased directly from Blanche Barton, Magistra Templi Rex, this is an original 1968 pressing, issued on the church's own label, Murgenstrumm, of the only authentic satanic mass to ever be recorded. *As a BONUS, I'm including a certificate of authenticity detailing some of the history of this record which was written and signed by the church's former High Priestess herself, Magistra Barton. Also included is a piece of related ephemera from its release in 1968 - the announcement/mail order form.
**NOTE: I bought two sealed copies of this album from Ms. Barton and have already sold one of them. I had originally planned to sell one and keep the other, which is the only reason why this copy isn't still sealed. At the time of purchase, she said that she only had a "handful" of the original pressings left. If you're on the fence about buying this, remember that this copy may just be the last of those original pressings to come up for sale in such great condition in a very long time.
