Description

Welcome to my auctions- I have some interesting records for sale this week, something for all tastes! Please feel free to look through my other items- naturally, I will offer postage discounts for multiple purchases. Any buyer spending over £100 will be eligible for FREE postage, this applies worldwide!

I use “Record Collector's” grading system as detailed below, however as I believe records can be graded between “very good” and “excellent”, I will now use “+” or “-” to attempt to catalogue an item precisely.

• Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

• Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

• Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

• Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc...

• Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

• Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

• Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.

Aphex Twin- Selected Ambient Works Volume II- LTD Edition Brown Vinyl, No. 001649.

This is the 3LP limited edition ( of10,000) of Aphex Twin's renowned album “Selected Ambient Works Vol II”- the album was released on black vinyl earlier in 1994, and it has also been reissued in America since.

This is the version with the “grey scale” front cover.

The gatefold sleeve is in Very Good (+) condition. There are only one or two minor creases to the front, and there is hardly any sign of edge or shelfwear. However, there is an unknown substance on the reverse- it cannot be seen until light is shone on it, but you can feel it with your finger- it's quite weird but it has not caused great damage to the sleeve.

All 3 records are in excellent condition. Aparrently, there was a problem with some of these records in as much that the 3rd LP had an “off centre” label, causing problems to the playback. THIS IS NOT one of those copies, and the record plays absolutely fine.

There are one or two extremely light surface marks across all three records, this copy is almost spotless.
