Description
Apocalypse Now. Original motion picture soundtrack 1979 European 2nd Issue double vinyl LP with gatefold sleeve and picture inners ( ELK 62025)
From the collection of Billy Duffy. This was purchased at the recent Omega charity auction where Billy was auctioning off his music and memorabilia collection. This was part of a couple of mixed vinyl lots that I purchased on that day. I am keeping most of it, but selling off some items that I either have duplicates of or don't particularly want. Will include a photo copy of the signed Certificate of authenticity from the auction house to the winning bidder/buyer.
Play Graded:
Vinyl- Ex. A couple of split second bits of static crackle on sides 1 and 4 otherwise really nice, sides 2 and 3 are near perfect. Can't have played more than a couple of times. Visually they look very clean and shiny with just the off hairlines and inner sleeve scuff. A solid Ex
Gatefold Sleeve Ex A little storage wear at the corners and edges with the original ' Our Price ' stickers still attached. Ex
Inners- Ex have a little bit of creasing but still decent. See pics Ex
This will come with new poly lined anti static inners along with the original picture inners and a new pvc protective sleeve ( single)
I use the Record Collector Grading System sometimes with a + or - to indicate that it's slightly better or slightly worse than than Ex or VG etc.
MINT; The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT; The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD; The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR; The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. I will not sell any vinyl below this grade.
