Description

This product is a rare find from 1969, a vinyl record titled "One Giant Leap for Mankind" by artist Col John "Shorty" Powers. The record features a historical narrative about the space exploration missions of Apollos 8 through 11 including the moon landing, presented with 50 color 35mm slides. All 50 are in n the original box. Produced by Imagineering Co. Inc. in the United States during the 1960s, this 12" vinyl offers a unique glimpse into a monumental moment in human history.

Excellent educational material for our younger generations and wonderful memories for those of us who were glued to our tv sets as we watched history in the making.

The record is in mint condition. The paper sleeve has no rips or tears. The box is in fair condition ( please see photos for details). This has been owned by one family since purchased in the 1960s.
