M | Mint
New Item. Never played, never used.
Absolutely perfect in every way.
NM | Near Mint
RECORD: Near perfect.
The record is shiny, with no visible defects to the playing surface.
The record should show no obvious signs of wear.
SLEEVE: The sleeve looks close to perfect.
The sleeve is free of creases, ring wear and seam splits of any kind.
EX | Excellent
RECORD: The record is in excellent condition visually.
The record may have one or two minor superficial marks or scuffs on the playing surface, likely inaudible.
SLEEVE: Artwork looks as close to perfect as can be.
The sleeve may have only the slight signs of use.
The sleeve may have some slight creases to the corners, one or two minor superficial wears, or some very light stains by age, but not obtrusive to the eye.
VG +| Very Good Plus
RECORD: Condition is in between EX and VG.
The record may show some visible signs of wear, including light scuffs or light scratches, or may have a little background crackle. but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly.
Slight warp that does not affect the sound are possible.
SLEEVE: Condition is in between EX and VG.
The sleeve may have minor wear, lightly turned up corners, a slight seam split, or light marks where corners have been hit, but not an eyesore.
VG | Very Good
RECORD: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, never continuously.
Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
SLEEVE: The sleeve will have signs of handling. Ring wear is usually obvious, though not overwhelming. More creases might be present. Seam splitting may be present.

RECORD: Condition is in between VG and G.

May have continuous crackles, pops, etc. but not so loud as to make the music completely unlistenable or unenjoyable to the casual listener.
SLEEVE: Condition is in between VG and G.
The sleeve will have wear and damage evident.
G | Good
RECORD: May have more serious scratches causing loud crackles, pops etc.
SLEEVE: May have various kinds of wears and tears.
F | Fair
RECORD: The Record is heavily damaged, cracked, or warped seriously.
(Normally we do not sell this grade.)
SLEEVE: The sleeve heavily damaged and may include significant tearing of the surface or seams.
