Description
Really nice playing copy of this stellar 1967 album from soul queen Aretha Franklin, issued on the Atlantic plum label. This is the UK mono 1st press and it's a cracker.
The front laminated sleeve has a minor scuff towards the top of the front cover, and a minor corner crease and a hint of ringwear to the back cover. All seams are tight, clean and largely unworn and there's barely any corner wear at all. Amazing!
The vinyl is even better - the odd mark and hairline but it plays through beautifully - the range is great and the warmth and 'feel' is excellent and really catches Aretha's voice at her best. I maybe counted two tics and that was it.
The labels are bright, clean and unmarked and it comes in a very recent excellent condition white inner sleeve.
Getting hard to find UK mono 1st pressings of this - particularly hard in this kind of condition.
