Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Aretha Franklin - Lady Soul - Original Vinyl LP 1968.

A1, B1 Matrix
Vinyl Condition: Fair (Record has a lot of surface marks, minor scratches and scuffs and has been well played. Still in playable and enjoyable condition but will not suit fussy listeners. If you don'd mind a bit of surface noise and some snap, crackle and pop then this will be fine. There is surface crackle throughout and a number of clicks and pops but no sticks or jumps. Overall a well played record in fair condition. A decent entry level early pressing of this rare record).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Plain white inner is a replacement).
Outer Sleeve Condition: Fair (Front laminated sleeve has some large cellotape at the bottom which is mainly on the back of the sleeve. Some tape going over to the front side. There is a small sticker removal tear on the back and some staining. Lots of creases and some edge and corner wear. Overall sleeve is showing its age but is ok).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
