Aretha Franklin’s debut album; “Songs of Faith” was recorded live when she was 14 years old in 1956 in Detroit Michigan at New Bethel Baptist Church, where her father, Rev. C.L. Franklin, was minister.  After Ms. Franklin’s popularity began to climb up the secular music charts, Checker released the Songs of Faith gospel songs on their recording label in 1965.

Record is play graded VG. It has a high gloss & no seriously disturbing damages or noises, vocals & music are strong; has surface marks that cause lite ticks & a few more pronounced clicks can be heard throughout, neither disrupts the music. Labels have no handwriting or cutouts; labels have some wear around the spindle hole. Jacket is VG+ with legible print and clear cover art & no split seams, no handwriting or cutouts; jacket has some wear on the surface, corners & seams. Shipping & Packing

We usually ship within 1 business day of receiving cleared payment. We pack securely and professionally using sturdy materials. We sometimes use recycled packing materials, but only when they are in strong, useful and presentable condition. We combine shipping on multiple items.

International Shipping:  International shipping cost depends on weight and location. Refunds

If you do not agree with our assessment please contact us directly before entering negative feedback to work out a resolution that will be favorable to you and us.  For a full and prompt refund please return the item or items within 30 days of purchase in the exact condition they were in when they left our possession. Sealed items must still be sealed. Items sold in a lot are considered 1 item and all must be returned together.  We maintain detailed photos of all merchandise until positive feedback is received or problems are satisfactorily resolved.
