Description

This is part of a big auction full of 1950's blues and R&B 45's that I'm running this week. This time the last 25+ Excello records as well as several from End, Robin, Atco and some great bonus listings as always.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1958


Notes: Original white label Promo first pressing. Early single by Henry who released records well into the 1970's. This one features some uptempo jump blues/R&B. Less bluesy and frankly better than his later work. This is a tough to find promo version.


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with just one surface scuff across plug side. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice, with no /tearing/stickers. There is some light scuffing and pencil X's to indicate plug side.  This is probably a weaker VG+, but I'm going to give it the nod for the great playability.


Thanks for looking and keep an eye on my store as well.  Due to vacation plans, I'm swapping out my Jazz auction to run in late Feb. I keep finding cool stuff and haven't gotten it all sorted out.  A 60's rock auction after that with a bunch of picture sleeves.
