Description

Argo Records stereo ZRG  5365, white label promotional copy, with the early grooved oval label  Disc pressed in England by Decca.  Stampers are 1G 1G.  Early flipback jacket.  Apparently, this copy was intended for broadcast, as the disc is numbered ZRG 5365 DJ.  Quite rare, this is the first early Argo white label promo that I have seen.

"Evensong for Ash Wednesday", with David Willcocks and The Choir of King's College, Cambridge.  A wonderful record, with great sound.  Listed in The Absolute Sound Super Disc List.  See pics for program details.
