CATALOG NUMBER: B0030388-01 = 2019 press
CATALOG NUMBER: 03280150 1 = 2024 press from back (dot-matrix)
Identical to the UK Release except for a different hype sticker.
ACHTUNG!
For True Collectors! = please read
A couple of definite collectible differences from the Original 2019 and the 2024 reissued US pressing,
is the 2019 release has a “Made in CANADA” Clear Sticker above the UPC,
while the 2024 release has “Made in CANADA’ with ‘Catalog No.’" dot-matrix printed on the shrink-wrap itself.
Another difference is: the Front Black HyPe Stickers (attached to the front top-left) of the
Album sleeve on top of the shrink-wrap;
the original 2019 is matt black (non-glossy) and the 2024 reissue release is glossy, not matt black.
For collectible purposes, the first and second pressings have not been differentiated. Those differences, most
likely, maybe cuz the majority of Ariana Fans, do not care about such stuff, however, Ariana Collector Fans do!
In our opine, the first 2019, will have more Collector / Investor value
by keeping those items intact and safely slit open the shrink-wrap along the opening in the sleeve.
I do not know what the 2024 “Dead wax” shows, as we do not open our coloured vinyl pressings,
unless someone here purchases, carefully opens and documents such specific details
stamped and/or etched on such “Collectible Vinyl Records.
I tend to believe, there will be differences in those details, no matter how slight.
The majority of the Ariana GRANDE Dangerous Woman
12-inch PuRPLe & BLaCK SWiRL VINYL Records x2 listed for sale,
when you have photos of the back sleeve, are the Reissue pressings from 2024.
FYI = hard to tell the difference in (matt vs. glossy) in the
Black HyPe Stickers in the photos, unless seen live. Good luck.
It may be wise, if it matters to you, to ask other sellers,
what "Made in CANADA" writing does the back of the album have. I suspect,
most are the dot matrix printed with Cat. No. and some will have nothing at all...
just a thought...
