Description

This is Blue Note Records BLP 4003, Art Blakey And The Jazz Messengers (AKA Moanin'), a blue and white, deep groove, microgroove, 47 West 63rd label, original mono issue of classic record with RVG stamped in the dead wax and the ear (p) mark present as well. The record is in VG+ condition showing light marks on both sides. The record plays quietly except for some light distortion on Drum Suite and some light crackle audible on the bass solo on Come Rain Or Come Shine. The laminated cover, with it's 47 West 63rd St., New York 23 address has a small bump on the lower right corner, and label residue on the back, but is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show light spindle marks. This is an excellent, collector's grade copy of this beautiful original mono Blue Note with all the proper markings in place. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.  Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
