Description

This is Columbia Records CL 897, The Jazz Messengers, an original, black and red, 6 eye, deep groove, label mono issue of this great recording with 1AA/1H in the dead wax. The record is in VG+ condition showing marks and playing with occasional light background noise. The cover has a split top seam and spine but is otherwise unblemished. The labels are excellent. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is still a fine initial "play" grade copy of this great recording.
