Description

Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers - Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers (a/k/a Moanin') - Blue Note 4003 vinyl LP (1969).
Original mono 1st pressing with 47 W. 63rd NYC label with no "inc" no "r" and deep groove.
RVG and the Plastylite "ear" in the matrix.  The address on the back cover is 47 W. 63rd New York 23. 
This is the very rare true 1st pressing.
Vinyl:  G+  Lots of light scuffs and marks, including a few that are very lightly feelable.  Plays with background noise and a some pops and clicks.  However, no skips, plays loud and still sounds good.
Cover:  VG very nice.  Pretty sharp, no seam splits, good spine and nice shiny laminate cover with the iconic cover photo.  A tiny tear on the back cover and some general overall wear, but good for this LP.  The cover photo of Art will look bada$$ on your shelf.
A true classic and must-have for any jazz vinyl collection, and a chance to own a decent 1st pressing.
