Art Blakey & Jazz messengers classic Blue Note album, At the Cafe Bohemia Vol I BLP 1507. This is a 1975 blue note reissue of the 1957 original album. The vinyl is in close to mint, just a couple of faint surface marks. The cover in Vg-. This album was a cut-out so it does have a small hole in the top left corner of the jacket. The inner sleeve is original. I took this album to a rare 1985 Los Angeles club date that Art played so I could get it signed. After the show i walked up to the backstage entrance and asked the bouncer if i could get it signed. He said no way that Mr Blakey does not sign. I went back to my table and the girl I was with said F that! She took the album to the back and was let in to the backstage area. She came back with the signed album and said she pleaded with them and Art gave in!!! I really hate to sell this, but I need a new turntable and I know how rare this is!
