Description
Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers’ At The Jazz Corner Of The World is pure live hard bop energy — smoky club atmosphere, razor-sharp playing, and the kind of momentum that makes modern “background jazz playlists” quietly leave the room in embarrassment.
This is jazz with movement, sweat, and purpose. No polite dinner music here. Blakey drives the band like he’s late for something important, and the Messengers absolutely fly.
Catalog: BLP 4015
A cornerstone title for Blue Note and hard bop collectors, and a reminder that live jazz albums used to feel like you accidentally walked into the greatest night of music in your life.
Condition Notes: Vinyl VG+ play tested great, some light scuffs but nothing impacting play; Sleeve VG - some corner & ring wear, not severe. Small hole drilled in top left
