Description

This is Columbia Records CL 1040, The Jazz Messengers Hard Bop, a deep groove, six eye label, original mono issue of this classic record with 1A/1A stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing a few light sleeve marks and playing quietly throughout. The cover has clear tape on the back of the top seam but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17.
