Description

Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers - Moanin' BNS 40012 Blue Note reissue EX. Condition is "Used".

Here we have a very nice copy of Moanin' by Art Blackey and the Jazz Messengers. This is a United Artists UK reissue from 1978 catalogue number bns40012 (originally BLP4003). the cover is in excellent condition with just minor signs of its age and the record is in really nice condition with no visible scratches ( a couple of finger marks and paper scuffs, but if you play your records that will happen).

This is my second copy and is being sold as I have managed to get a New York 23 pressing and sound wise whilst not anything like the original pressing it is still a very enjoyable listen. in the interests of full disclosure I am relying on memory for the sound of this record (but it is one of my favorite blue notes and was played a lot) as my Xerxes is poorly and needs to be rebuilt (plinth sag).
I will be listing other Jazz albums over the weekend including my first copy of this album, which is still a very playable copy just not as nice as this one so will be up for less. if there are any others you would like I am sure we can come to a deal for multiple items
