Description
“Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers” 1959 1st pressing Blue Note (# BST 4003 stereo) in a laminate cardboard sleeve with a gold “STEREO” sticker on the front. The record grading is Very Good (VG). There is a large cosmetic-only mark across the entire Side 2 which does NOT affect playback - believe me, I have played it twice throughout the side to confirm. However, there is a scratch on Side 2/track 2 that affects ~1 minute of playback with a tick and a tiny scratch on track 1 that produces 2 faint ticks, otherwise the Side plays very well. Side 1 is excellent with rich fidelity. The following is on the runout groove:
-
Side A): (etched) BN.ST.4003 A-1.(stamped) RVG STEREO P (is etched)
-
Side B): (etched) BN-ST.4003 B (stamped) RVG STEREO P (is etched)
The outer case is Excellent (EX) with tiny dings on all 4 corners. There are no splits. (all reflected in the photos)
Due to that cosmetic mark on Side 2 & the 2 scratches, I am pricing the initial bid very low on this album. If it sells at that price or close to it, this will be a good bargain. All sales final - no refunds.
