Description
Nice copy of this classic LP for the discriminating jazz fan!
The last "true" mono master Blue Note! All subsequent mono pressings were folded down from stereo tapes.
LABEL DESCRIPTION: BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC. • 47 WEST 63rd • NYC. Deep Groove. No reserve!
GRADE & DESCRIPTION (COVER): VG+. Highly glossy "frame" laminated cover. Front is in beautiful shape with exception of a minor crease and bump in the lower right corner. Back cover is bright with some discoloration.--overall a pretty solid cover!
GRADE & DESCRIPTION (RECORD): VG. Record has a lot of very light surface marks and a couple of light scratches on side one that do not make any repeated tics on my system (see detailed photos). There is just a hint of some minor crackle here and there, but overall it sounds great! I'm always amazed at how loud these mono Plastylite pressings are. RVG machine stamps both sides. Plastylite "ear" on both sides. Deep Groove! 168 grams in weight. A great record!
SLEEVE: Plain.
Note about extreme closeup photos: I take them to show any flaws mentioned in the description, but they sometimes exaggerate minor flaws like sleeve scratches and dust. I clean all records with a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine and ship in Sleeve City Diskeeper sleeves.
