Description

This is an auction of a great RARE COLLECTIBLE JAZZ VINYL LP Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers  BLUE NOTE 47 West 63rd  DEEP GROOVE LABELS  BTS-4003 STEREO  An incredible Jazz artifact with Blakey, Lee Morgan, Benny Golson, Bobby Timmons and Jymie Merritt. Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder with an "ear" (Plastylite "P" ) and  RVG STEREO stamped in the trailoff of both sides (BIDDERS NOTE: Blue note used a MONO cover, stuck a STEREO label on front and wrote in red "stereo" on the back) With first issue stampers:

  • Matrix / Runout (Side 1, etched): BN.ST.4003 · A-1.
  • Matrix / Runout (Side 2, etched): BN-ST-4003 · B

RECORD PLAY GRADES VG++ OR BETTER - VERY QUIET!

Condition: 

Record is visually graded as VG++ with a handful of light hairlines on each side - PLAY GRADES VG++, cover is VG++ with light general wear.
