Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped stereo “P”-pressing of Art Blakey “And the Jazz Messengers” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BST 4003. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a nice luster; perhaps played once. The laminated West 63rd cover has the gold “Stereo” sticker that was used for original stereo pressings in the early 4000 series, before stereo covers were printed; the cover is in excellent condition throughout, with just normal age toning on the back slick. Personnel include Lee Morgan, Benny Golson, Bobby Timmons, and Jymie Merritt. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
