Up for your Consideration is this 1961 Used 33-1/3 LP Jazz Album by “"Art Blakey & Jazz Messengers” titled “"Meet Me at the Jazz Corner of the World” Featuring " Lee Morgan "…Originally released in 1961 on Blue Note Records Inc…with a product number of BST84055… LP Vinyl: in VG++ Condition the vinyl looks good has lots of luster and shine…Under spot light Obviously been played with noticeable surface marks on both sides see only 1 scratch on side 2… when listening exhibits no major loss of sound quality, no snap, crackle pop...Paper Sleeve: Reads ”Blue Note the finest in Jazz since 1939”...Labels: both Side in EX Condition, blue and white, with "Blue Note Records Inc • 47 West 63rd • NYC." …has Deep Groove (an indent in the label about 1/2-inch from the edge of the label, which on SOME labels is associated with very early or first pressings) there is some play rub on the grooves …Run Off or Dead Wax: "RVG", “Stereo” and the Ear Mark are inscribed on both sides … Album Cover: is in EX- Condition…nice shinny high gloss front, only issues, small split at the opening but has been nicely tape across the top to keep it from splitting out any farther…small dings at lower corners,  other seams are all good…on the back  the white it is a little dirty looking from shelf ware… the back doesn’t read anything about Blue Note address there is a stain at the edge of the opening edge… overall what I see is a Used 33RPM Album in VG++ Condition … I have listed a rating chart below... I inspect everything under bright spot light and state what I see, plus I have the album played for sound quality... Please look at all of the pictures since they are a part of the description also... Meet You at the Jazz Corner of the World is a series of two LPs featuring the Jazz Messengers with the leader/drummer Art Blakey, trumpeter Lee Morgan, tenor saxophonist Wayne Shorter, pianist Bobby Timmons and bassist Jymie Merritt. The albums feature live recordings of the Jazz Messengers at Bird land, a famous jazz club in New York City. Birdland (aka "the jazz corner of the world") produced some of Art Blakey's (drums) most revered live recordings. In addition to these volumes, enthusiasts are equally encouraged to locate the genre-defining A Night at Birdland (1954). For the Meet You at the Jazz Corner of the World sides, listeners fast-forward six years to Blakey's latest quintet, which includes the respective talents of Lee Morgan (trumpet), Wayne Shorter (tenor sax), Bobby Timmons (piano), and Jymie Merritt (bass) — all of whom are solidly grounded to Blakey's firm yet profound backbeat.
