Art Ensemble of Chicago A Jackson in Your House/Message to Our Folks (BYG 529.204) (Actuel vol. 204) 2-LP gatefold
Lester Bowie, Joseph Jarman, Roscoe Mitchell, and Malachi Favors. All play multiple instruments.
Sides 1 & 2 recorded on 23 june 1969, and 3 & 4 on 12 August '69, in Paris.

Condition of Record: VG++ to NM. Some spindle wear on 1 and 2; none on either 3 or 4. There are factory-made vinyl smears but no marks or blemishes of any kind on any of the four sides; records are very clean.
Album cover is French quality, with smooth laminate that has not aged at all. Great photo of the band is in excellent condition. Very slight ringwear noticeable only if cover is tilted. Bottom right corner has minor curl, bend. Back cover also excellent with same hardly-noticeable ringwear. Laminate has kept photo in great condition. Bottom right corner slight bump, bend. Left face on open gatefold has two small rubbings, one in each bottom corner. Rest of left, and all of right face, fine: All photos and text clean. Spine is good, with slight mottling; text fine. Both top and bottom corners have minor bumps.
I'm an independent seller divesting his own record collection. I'm not selling from a store or warehouse, with multiple copies of titles, or on behalf of a professional collector.
Shipping: Ebay requires seller to indicate shipping methods and other particulars, then automatically inserts the cost at the top of the listing. Buyer will pay amount as determined by destination, by shipping method he chooses, and by required insurance (see: below); I don't gouge the price to make more profit. (USPS Media Mail is cheapest; I will provide prices for US Priority, or for FedEx or UPS ground, if requested.)
Insurance is mandatory on shipments to US addresses: The final price of the item determines the amount of insurance required. Please wait till I inform you of your total cost prior to submitting payment. It and not Ebay's stated cost is the amount to be paid.
**For winners outside US**: USPS shipping options are International Priority and International Express. Both methods include insurance but only Express provides a return receipt. (Check USPS's website for shipping prices.) If you want a private-company shipper, I will quote you the cost at end of auction. First-Class-Package service, which doesn't include insurance, is an option; the shipping cost will be lower, but if your item doesn't arrive you have no recourse. The risk is yours.
Packing: The LPs will be carefully wrapped, then placed in a standard, cardboard LP box. Please indicate any special instructions.
Payment: I accept Paypal. I also accept cash in cases of in-person deliveries.
Returns: Returns will be accepted in cases of error in description.
