Description
Art Farmer Quintet ~ Prestige PRLP - 177. From 1954 is this original 10" pressing in LOVELY condition. The cover is COMPLETELY intact, NO seam splits, NO cracking or weak areas. There is slight rubbing wear to the front David X. Young illustration and 3/4" of sun/light fade along the front spine side (seems a typical fault with this cover color) as well as some sun/light fade to the other seams and at the opening. These show less and smaller (1/4"-1/2") fading. There is a TEENY bit of cover missing BRHC juncture, 1/16th inch.
The back cover has the Prestige catalog up to and including this release. A former owner's name is neatly written on the B/C ULHC in blue ball point pen. The B/C has slight rubbing. It would clean up with some TLC.
The vinyl is VG++, with light signs of careful play (a couple very soft needle marks) and a couple very soft paper scuffs. There is light wax staining inherent in the pressing. The labels have NO spindle marks and are NM but for what looks like a factory defect scratch through "Confab in Tempo". Please view the photos.
This is a very scarce title in remakable condition. It is NOT play graded and we figure it does play with some inherent 10" vinyl "noise", which, if you collect vintage 10" you know what that is.
