Art Pepper. Art Pepper Meets The Rhythm Section (Contemporary S7532) This is alto saxophonist Art Pepper's highly acclaimed late 50's session for Contemporary Records and includes THE BAND, or the rhythm section from the Miles Davis Quintet, including Red Garland- piano, Paul Chambers- bass, and Philly Joe Jones- percussion.  Desert Island material here, and considereed by many to be among the top 10 jazz records of all time.   This is the Contemporary stereo reissue from 1973, pre-digital, pre-OJC.  These early 70's era Contemporary pressings rival the originals in sound quality, and this is an audiophile label.  Always a good value, so pick them up when you find them.

G  (Good): The record will have heavy wear, with very apparent surface and background noise.  A plus or minus may be given, if notable.

Shipping: All records will be shipped in a sturdy, reinforced cardboard box mailer, with record and cover protected in plastic sleeve.  Standard shipping will be via USPS media mail, at cost of $4.00.  Priority mail also available, at cost of $10.00.
