Up for bidding we have a rare promo stamped original pressing of Contemporary Records C3532, Art Pepper "Meets the Rhythm Section".
Cover is graded VG, with some general wear and ring wear to cover and back side. Seams and edges have some wear but are generally still together except for a half inch section on the top spine and a minor bump/bruise on the top seam (both of which I have included photos of). Writing on the spine is still clear and legible. Promo stamp on front cover and back cover (photos also included.)
LP is conservatively graded VG. Would have Happily graded the LP with a solid VG+ except that it has a rainbow scuff that runs along the length of the first side of the LP. This scuff is certainly viable to the eye, but cannot be felt with your finger along the length of it and does not sound when played. I included a photo of the scuff. Other than that the records is in good shape with a few light sleeve style marks and nice vinyl gloss. I have played this record on two audio systems and it played loud and strong on both sides with no skips, just some light noise in places and a few very minor pops that do not distract over all from the playback. I don't think you will be bummed out.
Labels are clean and bright and promo stamped on both side.
Dead wax matrix stamped LKL 12-121-D2/LKL 12-122-D2, meaning this is the original double sided deep groove mono pressing. Many people believe the promo copies of these records generally sound superior, as they are usually pressed early on in the lifespan of the stamper.

Record will be shipped In a thick cardboard with heavy duty cardboard flats.
