Description
Mono, dark red label with silver text, deep groove. 8 tracks with leader, Pepper, alto sax; Russ Freeman, piano; Chuck Flores, drums; Ben Tucker, bass. A superb session with Pepper at his prime.
Cover: VG(-) 8" split on the top edge. Residue from former scotch tape along 3 sides of the jacket. Light record ring on the front cover. Light aging on the front and back cover.
Record: VG+ Visually shows no wear. Played several times. A few light, brush-like surfacr rub marks. There is some very light undertones of groove noise. This seems to occur throughout the record. It is somewhat irregular. It is difficult to give an overall rating. The music can be heard clearly. Some of the light noise can be attributed to the SCORE pressing. In general the record plays well with the noise describe as best I can. Moderately heavy vinyl pressing.
