Description
This is an original pressing of the album "Taylor's Wailers" by Art Taylor featuring John Coltrane, Donald Byrd, Paul Chambers and others. There is a deep groove on both sides, Prestige "yellow fireworks" labels with a 446 W 50th St N.Y.C. address. I have fully play tested it and I grade it as VG by Goldmine standards. NO RESERVE.
There are a fair number of marks on it but don't be fooled! This plays much better than it looks. I played it all the way through several times, and the sound quality is remarkably good, particularly on the A side which really mostly plays more like VG+. There is a light crackle but it is almost always drowned out and never too obtrusive IMO. In aggregate about 10% of play has light or at times moderate repetitive ticks.
One label has a few minor scuffs. The very nice thick cardboard sleeve is fully intact and shows little wear on the front. There is some discoloration on the back. Comes with a new generic inner liner
