ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Joel Whitburn "Top R&B / Hip-Hop Singles 1942-2004" Billboard research book reflects that neither side of this record (released during 1946) reached #06 during July 1963. My scanner STINKS....looking at the scan, not even I can't tell what color the vinyl is on this RARE beauty! Looking at it, the vinyl looks to me (and yes, I am slightly color-blind) like orangeish-red, even though the old reference book I have states "red".....so call it red. This IS NOT a bootleg....the individual I bought this from was a longtime collector of mostly 78rpms (watch my auctions for them), and only bought a couple hundred 45rpms during the late 40's and early 50's.

Here is another 45rpm item that I previously purchased while in pursuit of items for my own Billboard Top 100 hobby. Unless otherwise noted (by "Reissue" or "2nd Pressing"), they should all be original pressings! All of them should be Billboard Top 100 hits from the 50's and/or 60's! (But from time-to-time I may throw in a few other selections that I uncover, and think/hope someone might be seeking. ADDITIONAL 45RPM AUCTIONS: Still looking for other 45rpms? I have created an EXCEL data base for the following two categories of 50's/60's music: (1) ORIGINAL 45rpm records and/or picture sleeves that are visually in VG++ or better condition (some of the picture sleeves may be 1-2 grades lower IF they are being offered with a higher grade record); and (2) REISSUE 45rpm records that are visually in near mint or mint condition....almost all of them are UNPLAYED.
