DESCRIPTION: Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup- Mean Ole Frisco LP. 1st UK pressing with A1/B1 matrix and Blue Horizon labels.
LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Blue Horizon PastMasters MONO 7-63855.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970.
COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK.
CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and brushing lines and hairlines. It also has a 1cm surface line on S1 T2 that causes a repetetive tick. Played all of this today. Sits flat on the turntable. The music is pretty clean and loud with some ticks throughout. Apart from the ticks there is little in the way of surface sound. Cover is in clean condition, probably just about scrapes into a VG+. Check out the photos. It is firm and square and has near moderate edgewear, moderate cornerwear and light creasing. No edge-splits, writing or tape-marks. Very clean labels -no rips, stickers or sticker tears.

GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
