Description
Original UK black Track label stereo 1st press LP,The Crazy World of Arthur Brown was the only album released by the band and features Arthur Brown (vocals), Vincent Crane (Atomic Rooster, organ, piano and vibes), and Drachen Theaker (drums), bass guitar, where used, was provided by Nick Greenwood and the producer Kit Lambert added brass & strings to the mono/stereo mix after US Atlantic complained about the first mixes. This pressing has the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices and 1-1- stampers of the first issues.
The front laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner wear, a couple of small laminate creases and some laminate lifting along the spine, with some light storage rubbing on the rear cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain company inner is intact & in EX condition.
The record is in visually EX condition, with no scratches or nasty marks & only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two small needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of light spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, with some brief low background noise during the run in grooves and overall a really great, loud & clear listen! The matrix nos. are; 613005, A//1 stamper 1-1-2-8, B-1 stamper 1-1-1-9. This is one of very early copies of the first pressing of the original UK stereo issue of this classic 1968 album!

All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
