Description
This was my father's full 26 volume run of Arthur Fiedler & The Boston Pops' Fiedler's Favorites set, issued by Time Life from 1977-1980. Each issue contains 3 vinyl LPs for a total of 78 total records. I don't know that these were used much at all, as we haven't had a record player since the mid 80s, and I never knew him to care much for classical music. I had a friend listen to a few random LPs to ensure there is no sound distortion and have been told they're in great shape and sound terrific.
There are a few minor dings on the packaging of a couple of them, and there were two where the spine of the set (they're clamshell type cases) were taped seemingly to prevent further issues, rather than it actually holding them together. I feel confident in stating that the set as a whole averages near mint to mint condition. The records themselves are in tip top shape. No warping, no damage to the labels, no chipping.
Each set includes its own notes. There is also a thorough index (which was marked with small x's next to the titles of the sets on the table of contents, I assume to note they had been received), which covers the entire set, as well as a book on Arthur Fiedler.
I apologize that there's not more detailed pictures; it's difficult to cover 78 records in 12 pictures. I would be happy to provide additional pictures upon request if you question the quality of these.
