Description
Arthur Grumiaux plays Unaccompanied Bach. Vol 1
Sonata in G Minor BWV 1001 Partita in B Minor BWV 1002
PHILIPS - 835 198 AY - STEREO
Magnificent, ethereal playing from Arthur Grumiaux. The recording quality is high, and Grumiaux's magnificent tone shines through despite some intermittent quiet surface noise. This is on a par with Milstein and Szeryng in my opinion.
This LP comes from a large collection of records owned by a retired music professor that I am selling on his behalf. I do no grade the records visually, I listen to them in their entirety and try to give as accurate description of the condition as I can.
If purchasing more than one LP please wait for a revised invoice before making payment. If you have any postage preferences then contact me as soon as possible to let me know. For UK customers I send parcels 2nd class standard, but am happy to revise this and send them 1st class if preferred, For orders over 2kg in the UK courier options are also possible and economical. For international buyers, if you want to have your LP sent as a registered parcel to be signed for, please contact me before making your payment. I will always try to find the best option available.
