ARTIST(s) / TITLE - Three LPs by LOVE with Arthur Lee:
1) "Forever Changes" Elektra EKS-74013, Stereo, 1967, US pressing, brown Elektra label with 'E' logo - first pressing.
2) "Four Sail" Elektra EKS-74049, Stereo, 1969, US pressing, red label with 'LOVE' logo - first pressing.
3) "False Start" Blue Thumb BTS-8822, Stereo, 1970, US pressing, gatefold jacket, off-white label w/thumbprint logo - first pressing.

Vinyl Condition - all 3 LPs are VG+ with light scuffs.
Jacket Condition - all 3 jackets are VG+ (all 3 have light surface wear & light ring wear - Forever Changes has a few creases & Four Sail has partly unglued seams)
Description - Late 60s LA psychedelic rock band with lead singer / songwriter Arthur Lee. "Forever Changes" is their 3rd LP & the last with any semblance of the original lineup. The other 2 have none of the original members, though Lee is backed by the same drummer (George Suranovich) and bassist (Frank Fayad) on both with different lead and rhythm guitarists & vocalists. Jimi Hendrix played lead guitar on one track of "False Start" (The Everlasting First).
These LPs are from the collection of noted music critic & writer David Prince.

SHIPPING: I use LP mailers and corrugated cardboard inserts. ALL boxes marked FRAGILE and DO NOT BEND. I insist that INSURANCE be purchased for LPs ending at a price >$50 US (Domestic US Customers only).
Overseas Customers - If you are paying more than $50 for your LP, I suggest you have it sent via REGISTERED AIR MAIL.

GRADING: I follow the GOLDMINE method...
Still Sealed (self-explanatory) - I don't like to sell sealed LPs.
Mint (M): Absolutely perfect in every way, opened but never played.
Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect record with no obvious signs of wear. The LP jacket has no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable defects. No cut-out holes, cut corners, etc.
Very Good Plus (VG+) A VG+ record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play.
The LP jacket may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.
Very Good (VG) Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.
For me, anything below VG is not worth selling on E-bay (unless it's some sort of Mega-Rarity). The bottom line: a VG record must still be an enjoyable listening experience, despite its flaws.
