Arthur Pryor’s Band 78rpm 1912 Victor 17063 The Gaby Glide / Oh, You Beautiful Doll - Free Shipping
You are bidding on the exact record shown in my photos. It is the Original Victor Talking Machines Company Label 78 RPM Record number 17063 by Arthur Pryor’s Band. These recordings were made in February and April of 1912 in Camden, New Jersey. The record was released in May of 1912.
The songs are “The Gaby Glide” b/w “Oh, You Beautiful Doll (Introducing “When The Band Swings Low”)”.
Arthur Willard Pryor (1869 - 1942) was a trombone virtuoso, bandleader, and soloist with the Sousa Band. He was a prolific composer of band music. (Wikipedia)
Condition: Shellac is in “VG+/NM-” condition (based on the Goldmine standard). The labels are clean and intact. Please see my photos. The shellac shows only a few very light scuffs which do not affect the music. There are no scratches.
**Most importantly, the record plays completely and beautifully on my record player with no tics or skips.** Sounds great, especially for a 78rpm record that old!
