Description

Arthur Rosebery recorded the hottest version ever of "Broadway Melody," issued on Parlophone R383.  But even if you have that record, you still need this pseudonymous issue (as the Pall Mall Players) containing the nonvocal takes of "Broadway Melody" and "You Were Meant for Me," and not issued in the UK.  The solos are different and wonderful, and there are more of them.  Recorded in London on June 6, 1929.  
This record is in E condition visually, but it plays V+ on the "Melody" side, and VV+ on the flip side -- owing, I suspect, to steel needle wear.  The flip side also has a small dig that ticks four times at the beginning.  Nevertheless, the record is very enjoyable and rare in any condition.
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing.  I know how to pack records.
