CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded) CLEANED with LAST. Cover looks great; no scuffing. Back has no issues. Inner sleeve is original (plastic). Spine is unbroken, clean, and easy-to-read. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; slight wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light-use; small crease at center of front opening. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Sonatas of Franck and Faure is an album by Arturo Delmoni who is a noted violinist; he shares the album with noted pianist Meg Bachman Vas. Recorded live at the Church of the Holy Trinity in New York, with Delmoni playing a 1721 Stradivarius. It is an energetic and interesting combination -- Delmoni selected pieces in A Major from both composers, concluding with Faure's Apres Un Reve. Overall, splendid performances. (allmusic.com) Delmoni dedicates this album "with everlasting admiration and gratitude to my beloved teacher Josef Gingold on the occasion of his eightieth birthday."
