DESCRIPTION: Ash Ra Tempel- 1st self titled LP in original fold out gimmix cover.  Best album cover of all time. Disc with 1st cat number on matrix. Second cat number on labels and cover. This is an amazing LP. My own copy for many years until a very recent upgrade.  Has been kept in an anti-static sleeve inside the white inner. Postage cost includes top quality packaging and insurance. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: OHR OMM 556013 : YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: Germany: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G/G+. Vinyl is very clean with a decent  sheen. From a visual point of view the vinyl is around VG with some light marks and wear. Played the majority of this this morning on my budget deck. Ive obviously played it through a few times over the years. Sits flat on the turntable.  Both sides have a trickle of background sound and some ticks, most noticible in the quieter ambient passages before the music builds. This is particularly noticeable on side 2 where the background sound is louder and at times intrusive. Still it is what it is and I was happy enough listening to it over the years. Put another way as soon as i got this copy i sold my perfectly playing repress. Cover is in acceptable shape.  It is firm and square and has only moderate edge wear, corner wear and creasing.   The bottom of the cover has been damp at some point so it has some a few small areas of print tear and some of it blacked in. It has a couple of areas of wear to the inner gates. Everything should be shown in the photos. Clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
