Description

Decca/Nova[UK]SDN-R 1 Ashkan In From The Cold.This is the original 1969 stereo pressing,of the legendary blues/heavy psych lp.Ashkan had a style not unlike a more primitive,Led Zeppelin.Led by future Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Weston,the band paired heavy riffs with vocalist Steve Bailey's blues based,moans.The rhythm section of Ron Bending on bass and Terry Sims on drums,gave the band a rock solid,underpinning.This is a great copy of the lp.The vinyl is in mint minus condition and it plays with little or no crackles or pops.There is a bit of ring wear at the top back cover but all else is beautiful.This album has been in my collection for 30 years and I've always tried to treat it with loving care.It's expensive but worth it.
