HAWKWIND
Greasy Truckers / Glastonbury
The jacket will mislead anyone except the true Hawkwind fan. 'Assassins of Allah' was just too good of a title to NOT use for something. This record features several mythic Hawkwind tracks. The first two are taken from the Greasy Truckers Party album, the second two are from the from the Glastonbury Fayre, February 13, 1972 (Roundhouse, London). Then you have a live 6:40 version of 'Assassins' that was originally free with a 1987 Italian magazine, followed by a pair of live tracks from the 1986 Bristol Custom Bike Show album.
This is a numbered edition and is #107 of 300 pressed. This originally came in a simple 12 x 16.5 fold over wrap, but somebody had cut the panels from it and glued them down to a conventional record sleeve (white).
