Astell Kern Blue Note SD CARDS 75th Anniversary Limited Edition Box Set RVG
These high resolution SD Cards are extremely rare! They were apart of a 2014 Limited Edition Box Set by Blue Note Records and limited to a quantity of 200, sold with the Astell&Kern AK240 Hi-Resolution Portable Player. The original retail price was $6,000 for a set of 75 SD Cards alongside the AK-240 portable player. These sold out along time ago, and have barely (if ever) resurfaced for sale. In 2015, I went to a Rocky Mountain Audiophile demonstration were they were giving away the SD cards as samples from a set of 75. I was lucky enough to win a few in a raffle they were doing that day. A friend of mine also won a few in a raffle, we played and ripped his copies. The sound quality is abolutely outstanding, and un-paralleled. It's like listening to an original Lexington Ave that was never played, like you were the first one to drop the needle to the wax. Absolutely mind blowing sound quality. Although we played and ripped his copies, I left mine sealed and never opened them. This set being long out of print, with no plans to every remake these SD cards, this might be your only chance to ever own a few of these for your own collection. Again, the original retail price was $6,000 with the portable player for 75 cards. Most of these are in the hands of music executives, or people with big money. These will probably never resurface for sale. This might be the only chance to ever own or listen to them.
