Extremely rare, long out of print Athena ALSY-10002 Limited Edition - Piano Works - Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel with Ivan Moravec on piano.
Originally released by the Connoisseur Society, this 1990 Athena audiophile reissue was a Stereophile favorite and was produced with the help of the Fund For Recorded Music.

Facts about the LP from the back cover:
"This performance by pianist Ivan Moravec, was recorded in the Mozart Concert Hall of the Konzerthaus in Vienna, Austria between November 21 and November 24, 1967. The recording equipment included vacuum tube condenser microphones and an Ampex half inch, two track vacuum tube tape recorder operated without noise processing at thirty inches per second. Unlike the original issue of this recording, Robert Ludwig cut the lacquer masters from the original session tapes for Athena Productions. Mr. Ludwig did not utilize gain-riding, compressing, limiting, expanding, external equalizing, filtering or noise reduction. Pressed on 100% premium quality virgin vinyl."
Although used, this LP is in nearly new condition and has only been played 3-4 times on a VPI Aries/JMW 10 with Grado Statement Master, and a Well Tempered Classic with Ortofon HMC 30 or Ortofon Rondo Bronze cartridges. Before each play, the disc was cleaned and vacuumed with a VPI HW-17 record cleaning machine.
