"Athenians of Toronto" original 1971 Canadian pressing Athenian Record company LP 1001

• Gem of a band about which I can find very little. Copies are few and far between and very in demand. Al.most never comes on the market.
• Plays beautifully.
• Fantastic instrumental prowess through-out with freaky electric guitar soloing and great drumming.
• There are 12 tracks including covers of: 25 or 6 to 4, Make Me Smile, Color My World, No More Than Ever (Chicago tunes), Light My Fire (Doors), Proud Mary (CCR), Everybody's Everything (Santana) and One Fine Morning (Canadian band Lighthouse).
• Except for a couple of verses of Light My Fire, where they switch to English, vocals are in Greek language.
• Condition: the vinyl is conservatively graded, visually, at VG+. One area of light scuffs and less than a handful of
  independent light scuffs which caused no effect on play. Really  sounds incredible with NO hisses, pops, hops, clicks,
  distortion, OR sticks!!!. Only like nearly ALL records has the MEREST TOUCH of very, very low level static in the rarest
  few and far between places such as on the run in / out grooves, or between tracks and a few seconds of tiny momentary
  static during Color my World. That's it.  Please note, that I am  using a good JVC turntable with a new stylus, but the stylus is not super, audiophile,  high end sensitive. That said its hard to imagine anyone being disappointed  by the way this album plays.
• The cover is strong VG + with no cut out hole. No writing on the cover.No seam splitting. Bit of partial ring wear upper top and bottom front and back. Laminate is rubbed off on the back, near the top, in an area roughly three square inches. Nothing very significant.
