Description
This is part of a large auction of blues, doo-wop & R&B 10" 78's. There are quite a few on Atlantic, a nice group of Peacock and some other great records. Almost all of these came from the collection of a 1950's Yale radio DJ. Across the board, they have been played very little.

Format: 78 rpm 10" shallac record
Year: 1949
Notes: Red & black label first pressing. Later record by this vocal group, but their first on Atlantic. A very early piece of what would soon be called doo-wop. Great vocal harmonies on this one.
Record Condition: E+, The record itself is in really nice shape & plays very well, doesn't seem to have been played much at all. There is one small scuff near the edge on Sweetheart side as well as some light cosmetic hazing in a couple of spots. Sound is clean and clear. Labels are also very clean with no writing/tears/scuffs. This is a really nice copy overall.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in a box for maximum protection.
