Description

This is part of a large auction of blues, doo-wop & R&B 10" 78's. There are quite a few on Atlantic, a nice group of Peacock and some other great records. Almost all of these came from the collection of a 1950's Yale radio DJ. Across the board, they have been played very little.
Here's the info on this item:

Release: The Gospel Pilgrims - I'm So Grateful To The N.A.A.C.P. / Korea - Fightin' In The Foreign Land

Format: 78 rpm 10" shallac record

Year: 1951

Notes: Red & black label first pressing. Tough to find record and the only one released by this obscure Gospel group. Interesting stuff here. It definitely has that classic gospel sound but with more of a doo-wop/R&B vocal styling.

Record Condition: E+, The record itself is in really nice shape & plays very well, doesn't seem to have been played much at all. There are no scuffs or scratches, but there are just a couple of spots of light hazing visible. Sound is clean and clear. Labels are also very clean with no writing/tears/scuffs. This is a really nice copy overall.

Sleeve Condition: VG, original sleeve has some wrinkles, but no tears or splits. Still displays well.

All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in a box for maximum protection.

I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.

I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item.  If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
