Description
This is part of a large auction featuring mainly early Atlantic R&B/doo-wop 45's. There is lots of great stuff here including Ivory Joe Turner, Ruth Brown and some of the more obscure artists. There is also some cool bonus listings. Check back in a couple of weeks for another King/Federal auction.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1952
Notes: Yellow label original first pressing. Earlier single and two of the more obscure tracks by Gillespie and His Orchestra which actually included Milt Jackson and Percy Heath. A-side here is more of an uptempo bopper, the b-side though is a great ballad with excellent vibe work and of course Dizzy's horn is on point.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Record is in great shape cosmetically, no scuffs or scratches. It sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels have some light wrinkling, but no tears/writing/scuffing. Very solid copy.
Sleeve Condition: VG+, sleeve has just some minor wrinkling. No splits or tears. Small number written in pencil.
