Description
This is part of a big auction of mainly early Atlantic 45's I'm running this week. There are a few cool bonus listings as well. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a small label auction starting 9/11 as well.

Release: Joe Morris Blues Cavalcade - That's What Makes My Baby Fat / I'm Goin' To Leave You
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1953
Notes: Great blues-leaning R&B from a band that only put out three singles in the early 50's (see my other auctions for the others). A-side is a really fun vocal with Fay Scruggs, who is better know as the prolific R&B artist Faye Adams.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl itself is in great shape with no noticeable scratches or scuffs. It does have some light hazing from liquid exposure. Play tested on AT-LP120 & both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are nice with just some light scuffing and little bit of staining near the bottom edges of both - nothing major at all. On the weaker end of VG+, but plays well enough to jump over that bar.
Sleeve: The sleeves on most of the records I'm selling were in bad shape due to liquid exposure. I have replaced them with period-correct, original vintage sleeves that I had as extras. They are the proper sleeves for the records, but not the actual sleeve that was sold with the particular record. All are in nice shape with just light wrinkling and no tears or splits.
