Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Atlantis – Atlantis S/T – Original Vinyl LP album 1973.
Original UK Pressing from 1973.
Vertigo Swirl Label.
On the centre label of the record it says "Made in England". The fully laminated sleeve was printed in Germany. This is the case for all UK original pressings.
Vinyl Condition: VG/EX (Lovely condition. The record is nice and clean and is in lovely condition especially for its age. There are some light sleeve lines but overall really nice condition. Nice audio and sound quality. There are no sticks or jumps at all. Overall a really nice condition record and is one of the nicest I have seen).
Inner Sleeve Condition: G (Swirl inner sleeve has an approx 6m split to the bottom edge and an approx 3cm split to the left edge. There is also an approx 8cm split to the right edge. Apart from that the sleeve is in good shape. I have of course put the record in a new polylined inner sleeve to keep the record nice and to prevent any further damage to the swirly inner).
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (There is an approx 4cm split to the top edge. There are some light creases and the odd very slight corner bump but overall a very nice condition sleeve).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
