Hello and welcome to myauction for this lovely copy of Atom Heart Mother by Pink Floyd, arguably containing the first post-Syd material that is both fullysatisfying and also hints at their future potential. I think this isa 1976 3rd issue UK copy on Harvest, with matrix numbersA6 and B6. (In this version the water drip at the end of Alan'sPsychedelic Breakfast continues into the runout.
I've been collectingmusic for 45 years, but have recently decided to drastically slimdown my vinyl collection, therefore you might want to check my otheritems for some desirable records from the 1970s through to the 2000s.You might find some items of interest and you could benefit fromcombined postal discount
I've always cared formy records, played them on high quality gear at low tracking forcesand stored them upright within PVC sleeves. All my listings will beplay-graded with a full description of what I hear. I know what'simportant to you as a vinyl fanatic, and I won't shy away fromtelling you about any defects I find.

Disc Size &Speed: 12 inch 33 1/3 rpm
Cover Type:Smooth thin card, gatefold.
Cover Condition:Thecover is almost perfect with some very minor burring on the cornersof the bottom edges. The spine is fully legible.
Inner Sleeve:Original EMI unlined white paper, with advice about caring for yourrecords.

Record Warpage:none
Play Area VisualCondition: Both sides are clean.
Label Condition: Both labels are clean with minor spindle markings that are onlyvisible to me under a bright light with magnifying glass.
Playback Comments:This album plays almost perfectly with only a patch of static hereand there. No skips, no jumps and I didn;t notice any clicks. If Iwere bringing this album home today from a record shop, I'd be happywith it as a new purchase.
One note about“hairline” and “scuff” marks. These marks, mostly visible inthe runout deadwax sections are caused by slipping the record in andout of the inner sleeve, and are present on most used records, seenwhen inspected under bright light. They generally don't affect theplayback quality, because the stylus sits within the groove, notabove it, and it doesn't pick up any unwanted noise from surfacemarks. I therefore don't mention surface marks in the visual gradingreports, unless I feel they are unusually severe and are contributingto flaws I hear in the audio grading section.
